Turtles in Cayo Largo del Sur

The Turtle Farm is located at Puertosol Marina this is a Cayo Largo del Sur Tourism resort's conservation and protection program.

As part of the program, turtle eggs are collected from the beaches around the island and are then brought back to the sanctuary to hatch.

Once the eggs have hatched, the baby turtles are then returned to the wild of the ocean at one of the safer beaches on the island.

The species of turtles you'll see here include Loggerheads, Green Turtles, and Hawksbill Turtles
